IMAGINE the harvest beyond expectation….
Joshua 3:1, 5 NKJV ”Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. “And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”“
Sanctify: qâdash:
– to prepare or dedicate.
– to be set apart or keep oneself separate for something special.
– to be Holy.
Wonders: pâlâ’
– to be separated or become distinguished
– to accomplish great, difficult or wonderful things (to be hidden)
– to perform or do miracles.
- What’s vital to understand in the New Covenant, we don’t do the Sanctifying, we do the APPLYING!
Acts 2:40-47 NKJV ”And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.“

Joshua 3:1 NLT says they were camped by river Jordan before the crossing…
The old season has ended.
Moses my servant is dead, a reminder that everything has an ending and then we must get up and move on. This takes wisdom, belief and lots of courage.
Joshua 1:6-9 NKJV ”Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”“

Take a step in the right direction / Get moving in Faith
Joshua sends only 2 spies this time and guess where they go
Joshua 2:1 NKJV ”Now Joshua the son of Nun sent out two men from Acacia Grove to spy secretly, saying, “Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” So they went, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there.”
Joshua 2:9-11 NKJV “and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.”
Joshua 2:24 NKJV “And they said to Joshua, “Truly the Lord has delivered all the land into our hands, for indeed all the inhabitants of the country are fainthearted because of us.”“
Conclusion: Let not God’s people be afraid of their most powerful enemies, for their God can, when He pleases make their worst enemies afraid of them.
Rahab’s scarlet line speaks, by its color, of the safety that comes to our households through the sacrifice of Christ.
Joshua 3:2-4 NLT “Three days later the Israelite officers went through the camp, giving these instructions to the people: “When you see the Levitical priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, move out from your positions and follow them. Since you have never traveled this way before, they will guide you. Stay about half a mile behind them, keeping a clear distance between you and the Ark. Make sure you don’t come any closer.”
A new season always requires a new mindset

You have the mind of Christ
1 Corinthians 2:14-16 NLT ”But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.“
Grace, working through Faith and good works will produce true holiness.
True holiness is acknowledging that God is always right, His Word is true and when you allow the Holy Spirit to help you and correct your thinking you will see the Victory!
When we experience the LOVE of our Lord Jesus, the passing pleasures of sin will fade, darkness will be dispelled by His Glorious Light!
You will be set you free to have the kind of relationship you’ve always longed for with God, one that is intimate, powerful, and full of peace, joy, and good fruit!
Conquest requires His PRESENCE!
Joshua 3:5-11 NLT ”Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.” In the morning Joshua said to the priests, “Lift up the Ark of the Covenant and lead the people across the river.” And so they started out and went ahead of the people. The Lord told Joshua, “Today I will begin to make you a great leader in the eyes of all the Israelites. They will know that I am with you, just as I was with Moses. Give this command to the priests who carry the Ark of the Covenant: ‘When you reach the banks of the Jordan River, take a few steps into the river and stop there.’” So Joshua told the Israelites, “Come and listen to what the Lord your God says. Today you will know that the living God is among you. He will surely drive out the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites ahead of you. Look, the Ark of the Covenant, which belongs to the Lord of the whole earth, will lead you across the Jordan River!“
His PRESENCE Requires; Strategy, Obedience (order) & Consistency!
– Don’t just become a “Moses” generation, seeing the mighty hand & works of God but never been TRANSFORMED!
– God has been reminding us of HIS PROMISES to our lives that He wants us to take hold off.
– God has prepared us, already done the work and laid hold of us for this reason, NOW CROSS OVER AND BEGIN TO POSSES IT. (Imagine a harvest beyond expectation will lead to multiplication in every area of your life this year)
– Regain your “mountain top experience” and then Maintain it by walking in and being awake to HIS presence.
Joshua 3:12-16 NLT ”Now choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. The priests will carry the Ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth. As soon as their feet touch the water, the flow of water will be cut off upstream, and the river will stand up like a wall.” So the people left their camp to cross the Jordan, and the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of them. It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge, the water above that point began backing up a great distance away at a town called Adam, which is near Zarethan. And the water below that point flowed on to the Dead Sea until the riverbed was dry. Then all the people crossed over near the town of Jericho.“
– Joshua was called with specific “assignment” but he couldn’t do it alone, Kingdom ministry is always Team ministry!
– There are obstacles but we keep moving forward, don’t let the obstacle stop you from taking hold of the Promise, work through it by Grace through Faith!
– 2024 the year of the HARVEST, in one year what would by men’s standards take 10 years! “this Word is out of the heart of your Apostle (sent one)”
Philippians 3:12-16 NKJV ”Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.“
– Stay positioned (timing is everything) position determines condition, it’s determined by the Kingdom Mandate from God!
– Don’t camp on the wrong side of the Promise, it’s time to cross the RIVER (even although it’s in full flood & dangerous)
Joshua 3:17 NKJV “Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.“ CONSECRATION TODAY, CONQUEST TOMORROW!
