Genesis 18:13-14 ESV “The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”“
Genesis 17:1-7 NKJV ””When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.“ And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.“

Joshua 4:1-3 NKJV “When all the nation had finished passing over the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, “Take twelve men from the people, from each tribe a man, and command them, saying, ‘Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”
Joshua 4:6-7 ESV “that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’ then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever.”
NEW TESTAMENT =
I Peter 2:5 NKJV ”you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.“

Jesus counted people (100 sheep) because people count, proverbs 27 says, we are to “know the state of your flocks” & “to give careful attention to our herds condition”

The Vision is CLEAR
But here it speaks about WORKS…(this means there is a PROCESS in place)
We decided long ago as ELDERS, we were not going to be “performance driven” and it’s been confirmed recently even stronger, we are about relationship, the individual & loving for Christ!
This statement speaks to the Process as well as the VISION;
Every Believer a LEADER, every LEADER, a DISCIPLE-MAKER!

Joshua 5:1-2 NKJV ”So it was, when all the kings of the Amorites who were on the west side of the Jordan, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, that their heart melted; and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the children of Israel. At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives for yourself, and circumcise the sons of Israel again the second time.”
Joshua 5:7-9 NKJV “Then Joshua circumcised their sons whom He raised up in their place; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised on the way. So it was, when they had finished circumcising all the people, that they stayed in their places in the camp till they were healed. Then the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.“
NEW TESTAMENT =
Colossians 2:11 NKJV ”In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,“
– Spiritual circumcision of the heart occurs when people repent and put their faith in Christ and are saved.
– It’s about repentance, leading to Transformation of the heart and then mind and actions!
This speaks to us about ALIGNMENT: as we align with God in our lives, He brings us into alignment with His Vision for us!
So we have a clear VISION We have a clear PROCESS KNOW EVERYTHING MUST START TO ALIGN WITH THE VISION / MISSION!
Romans 2:28-29 NKJV ”For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”
To be more particular: Circumcision of heart implies humility, faith, hope, and charity. Humility, a right judgment of ourselves, cleanses our minds from those high conceits of our own perfection, from that undue opinion of our own abilities and attainments, which are the genuine fruit of a corrupted nature.
The circumcision of the heart is a radical change, an inner transformation, where by faith we receive humility, faith, hope, and love.
