TWO KINGDOMS
By Default
II Corinthians 4:4 NKJV “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
– Our Biblical World View is there are only two Kingdoms (that’s it).
– You are operating from one or the other.
– The Kingdom of Light or the Kingdom of darkness.
– There is not any middle ground (people don’t like that because it forces them to choose and we humans like choices)
Revelation 11:15 NIV “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.””
Once we are born again we begin to operate from the Kingdom of light, we currently live in the Kingdom of this world!
Luke 19:11-14 NKJV “Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’”
The world has become unrestrained and completely consumed with its own agenda;
II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
Scary incidents that impact all of us:
- Sweden’s agenda to de-criminalise “pedophelia”.
- BDE role of tool kit sponsored by same country to train pre-school & primary school teachers in the gender neutrality philosophy.(secretly)
- The drive to remove parents from the right of responsibility over there children till they reach the age of accountability.
John 15:19 NKJV “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
This is where our “Statement of Faith” becomes a huge asset and responsibility to our Local Church.
It governs & outlines our belief’s, values and Biblical principles we aspire to live by.
(We accept everybody, we love anybody, but we are governed by our ruler God as to how we are to live our lives)
(Now not with a judgemental, critical spirit, extending genuine compassion to all, so we can grow into who we should become)
But we don’t adjust the standard to suite us, we ask the Holy Spirit to helps us and transform us into who He is and the standard He as set)
You are saved by Faith through Grace so no one can boast! (Ephesians 2:8)
II Corinthians 3:16-18 NKJV “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
👑 Living and Serving in God’s Kingdom is the greatest privilege but it’s also a journey of a lifetime!
John 17:14-17 NKJV “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”
Colossians 1:13 NKJV “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,” “in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
So where is this Kingdom of Light situated?
John 18:36 NIV “Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.””
Luke 17:21 NKJV “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.””
That’s why what’s happening to you and around you may be real but the most important thing is what’s going on INSIDE OF YOU (the real you)
And we do well to understand we are instructed to pray that this Kingdom impact us so much that it become a reality in the Kingdom of darkness where we live
Matthew 6:9-11 NIV ““This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.”
As we learn to live in His Kingdom correctly and begin to pray accurately the source of all our Provision is not from this world by from Him, because we start to create “Heavens Culture”
Matthew 13:44-46 NIV ““The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”
Revelation 1:5-6 NIV “and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.”
God’s Kingdom
God is not democratic. His Kingdom is not a democracy. He is never subject to our whim or rule. The only real authority we ultimately have with God is the right to completely rule Him out of our lives. You can do that. But who in their right minds wants to? That’s the decision of those who refuse Christ, who reject God’s redemption and rule through His appointed King.
But once I receive Jesus Christ as Savior, He enters to become Lord. Once my choice is to “rule Him in,” He comes in to rule! He takes over at Master-control and exercises God’s Kingdom rule to achieve our best blessing and highest destiny.
