Your Kingdom come!
Philippians 2:3-5 NIV “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:”
Trust (Humility)
Letting go of selfishness is real Faith and it displays our Trust in the Lord!
God wants us to lean entirely on Him, to hear and obey His voice & that is what faith really is.
This requires HUMILITY!
Humility is acknowledging our need for our saviour Jesus Christ and that we need each other!
Not being humble towards one another can be a huge hinderance in building strong relationships.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself, BUT thinking of yourself less)
Humility is the opposite of Pride:
(God resists the proud, but gives Grace to the humble)
Pride defined:-
- Been arrogant (rude) due to a lack of respect for others.
- Overpowering, dominant or harsh.
- Showing contempt.
- Presumptuous.
- Been Boastful.
Trust God to keep you in His will, to straighten any crooked paths in front of you and to lead you into a life of victory!
Prayer: Lord let your Kingdom come, let your will be done in my life, help me to daily understand and follow your leading, I choose to rest in you and walk in your PEACE, in Jesus name!
