Matthew 9:37-38 KJV ”Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.“
We have been Praying for you to become a Labourer! (Not forced or badgered by our words, but nudged and prompted by the Holy Spirit)
PRAY: (PLEAD) this word in the Greek isn’t a casual inquiry or an asking for a Favor, but a desperate cry for God to move! It’s a deep honest passionate petition for God to use us… Literally says to bind yourself to something.
SEND FORTH: (THRUST)
- to cause a thing to move straight on its intended goal
- to lead one forth or away somewhere with a force which he cannot resist
This is a deep honest prayer asking God to help us MAKE A COMMITMENT TO BE LABOURER’S
We’re not leaving anyone behind and you been here today makes a difference, what you contribute means something, but there is MORE….

Hebrews 6:3 NKJV “And this we will do if God permits.”
Hebrews 6:7-10 NKJV “For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned. But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.“
Matthew 15:23-25 NKJV ”But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”“ ”But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Disciples are always learning; they interpret Jesus silence as rejection, frustration and say “send her away” but Jesus wasn’t ignoring her, He was wanting to locate her and pull Faith out of her, so He could help her…..
V25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”“
- Serving God requires FAITH, a choice to believe God and believe what HIS WORD SAYS to each of us as His Children!
MAKING A DECISION TO BE A LABOURER (Disciple-Maker) is making the decision to be a Soul-Winner and a World Changer
This Women wasn’t giving up, she had a Purpose, Passion to see her daughter delivered… SHE WAS STANDING IN THE GAP FOR SOMEONE WHO COULDN’T DO IT THEMSELVES! (Our force 938 JAR)
That’s what it’s going to take…..to WIN THE LOST…
GOD IS WILLING TO SAVE EVERYONE!
2 Peter 3:8–9 (NKJV) “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
IF you are the recipient of such a valuable gift SALVATION why would you not be PASSIONATE to share it with other PEOPLE that you love and at least should love because of God’s Love!
If Jesus already paid the price and made the way, we see from Scripture it’s GOD’S WILL WHY ISN’T IT JUST HAPPENING (Last week it takes Labourer’s)
TWO PRIMARY REASONS;
- No Preacher
- No Intercessor
Matthew 15:26-27 NKJV ”But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”“
THE CRUMBS ARE ENOUGH

WILL YOU PRAY FOR THE LOST
1 John 5:14–15 (NKJV) “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

Ephesians 2:2 (NKJV) “in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, “works” – greek energizes (Satan energizes sinners)
1 John 5:19 (NKJV) “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
Luke 11:21–22 (NKJV) “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.
- Now – described as property of Satan who guards over them.
- Before freeing the captives, Jesus dealt with captor, Satan, disarmed Him
In praying for the lost you are freeing His will from the bondage of Satan.
- Their Eyes Are Blinded By Satan
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 (NKJV) “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
Eph 4:17-19 NKJV “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility
(Frustration, vexation, uselessness & meaninglessness, emptiness) of their mind,
having their understanding darkened being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance (want of knowledge and perception, the will-full blindness), that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart (AMP:hardness of heart; [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature]). who, being past feeling, have given themselves over (How? Positioning) to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
– futility (Frustration, vexation, uselessness & meaninglessness, emptiness) of their mind
– Understanding darkened
– Ignorance (the lack of wanting knowledge and perception, the willful blindness – just want what they want – money, power)
– Hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature]
– Given themselves over (How? Positioning)
1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
- We need to free the wills of the sinners through prayer, by enforcing Satan’s defeat in their lives.
Hebrews 2:14–15 (NKJV) “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Matthew 15:28 NKJV ”Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.“
HER PURPOSE AND PASSION UNLOCKED HIS POWER TO BRING VICTORY!
