FAMILY MATTERS pt 3

Your Kingdom come

Matthew 6:10 NKJV “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

Thy kingdom come: Creating God’s culture and values within our lives and relationships.

For this to happen globally it has to start individually within and around YOU!

Matthew 6:10 TPT “Manifest your kingdom realm, (come and begin your kingdom reign) and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven.”

KEY POINT:- AGAIN as we discovered last week this again requires maturity (the acceptance of your responsibilities in life)

Hebrews 5:7 NKJV “who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,”

We see Jesus had a strong foundation {His Identity} (Week 01: God wants you)

❤ HE wants full custody of your heart, not just visitation rights. (He is married to us not just dating us)

We also we Jesus having applied our first Principle (Week 02: Hallowed be thy name)

❤ Jesus honored and respected His relationship’s (Prayer is a declaration of our desire to be in relationship with Jesus and when we make the effort to prayer for our friends we then declaring there importance to us & God!

Hebrews 5:8-12 NKJV “though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.” “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.”

❤ YOU can fall back into IMMATURITY?

❤ We see here that a true intimate relationship here between Father & Son stimulates growth & maturity! (Key elements to building strong lasting relationships)

❤ Letting HIS kingdom come means we commit to implementing His Word and Will into every aspect of our lives, starting with our relationships.

THIS TAKES FAITH:- Keep it positive (Faith) for every negative interaction it will take 5 positive ones to neutralise or undo it!

❤ HIS power changes things but it must also change us in nearly which is transformation into His IMAGE, We cannot view intimacy as all smiles and warm, fuzzy feelings all the time.

RELATIONSHIP EXPERTS CHRISTIAN & SECULAR AGREE:

  1. Respect & Loyalty
  2. Trust (which requires humility)

Letting go of selfishness is real Faith displaying my Trust of the Lord!

Lean on Him.

We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] and of the love which you [have and show] for all the saints. – Colossians 1:4 (AMPC)

God wants us to lean entirely on Him and to hear and obey His voice above all others; that is what faith really is. I love the definition of faith given in the verse for today and the fact that we lean everything about ourselves on the Lord.

We can lean on God to keep us in His will. I am glad about that because trying to stay in God’s will through our own strength is too difficult! I don’t know even one person who can honestly say he or she knows with 100 percent certainty what to do each day.

We can do everything we know to do to make right decisions. How can we know if we are right? We can’t. We have to trust God to keep us in His will, straighten out any crooked paths in front of us, keep us on the narrow path that leads to life, and keep us off the broad path that leads to destruction (see Matthew 7:13).

We need to pray, “God, Your will be done in my life.” I know some things about God’s will for my life, but I don’t know everything, so I have learned to stay at rest and peace by leaning on God and committing myself to Him and praying for His will to be done in and through me.

Sometimes we think only weak or frail people lean, but I have learned that leaning is a good thing if we are leaning on God.

  1. Forgiveness & kindness
  2. Vulnerability
  3. Communication

❤ When a relationship reaches this level of intimacy, there is a transparency and freedom that comes where we can be honest and share our SOULS with each other and there’s a flow and a grace (This is Heavens Culture).

THIS requires a lot of us but if we are to maintain healthy relationships we need to “daily” exercise towards these things:-

TALK ABOUT THE “Relational Banking Sysem”

  1. Surrendering (Ephesians 5) The blood of faithfulness Gave back my will, so I can willingly surrender it to Him

  1. Patience (Faith-means we Beleive the best in and for each other)
  2. Selflessness (the opposite of SELFLESSNESS)
  3. Love (Faith, Hope & Love)
  4. Time, effort….& an endless supply of it.

SO In an intimate relationship, we have wonderful moments, but we also have moments when we have to (He calls us to) honestly face things that need to change in our lives.

Hebrews 5:13-14 NKJVFor everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour you have access to an eternal relationship with God, He is now your Father.

You are now complete in Him and are becoming whole as you follow Him, you have the potential to be the best version of yourself empowering your life and relationships to be deep, wonderful and rewarding!

Some people are like wild stallions unwilling to let a saddle be put on them so they can carry a rider.

They haven’t learned that their own breakthrough to peace happens when they submit to God and obey Him promptly.

For God to guide you to a place of security and provision, you must be willing to give Him the reins of your LIFE!

TRUE PEACE COMES FROM SURRENDERING completely to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer of the Day: Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I surrender myself completely to You. Take full custody of my heart and help me as I build a more personal, intimate relationship with You, amen.
