A Better Word
Hebrews 12:23–24 ESV “and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”
Abel was murdered by his brother cain and his blood cry’s out for vengeance, and it speaks of Judgement and retribution, but Jesus Christ’s Blood speaks of Gods Mercy and displays God’s desire to not only save us (John 3:16-17) but to empower us to live a life of purpose.
Take a moment, sit quietly and breathe in God’s Love and Grace, He knows what you are facing and is the only one that can bring Peace into your heart.
