Rhythms of Grace – Power of Unity

Power of Unity

James 5:1314 NKJV “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”

So many of us suffer in silence, acting brave in the faith. But faith is having the courage to say; that whilst the circumstances are not perfect please stand together with me in faith and trust with me for the best outcome. On the flip side sometimes when we do well we feel guilty that we are getting to enjoy some of the good things of life, and that should also not be so. We should share our joys as well as our griefs equally, but both from the same position of thankfulness. That as we trust Him in faith to help us we too thank Him with faith for helping us, because God is faithful in the good times and the bad.

When we stand together as elders and ministers of the gospel we build a culture of faith by showing Gods compassion and love, known.  It’s from such a place that when we anoint with oil, power is released as Gods grace has the power to heal us .

Let’s us remember the power of unity in standing together in good times and bad.

Blessings
