Two Kingdoms pt 4

TWO KINGDOMS
Kingdom Living!
👑 As Kingdom people—we understand who we are and what we as the Body of Christ, can and must become.
Revelation 1:6 NLT “He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
Revelation 1:4-6 NKJV “John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Revelation 1:6 AMPC “And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father–to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it). [Exod. 19:6; Isa. 61:6.]”
👑 Kingdom people move into each day as ordinary people, who become supernatural because we are available to the Holy Spirit’s direction and power.
👑 We have all received of the abundance of his grace
And it’s His Grace that teaches us and empowers us to live fruitful lives and how we are to conduct ourselves
KINGDOM LIVING
Titus 2:11-15 NKJV ““For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,” teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.”
Kingdom living is firstly about POSITION not POSSESSION!
The Kingdom is about reliance on the King for everything and following His Leadership
Being accurately Positioned starts to happen when you align with God’s Word and Purpose;
– TRUST
– PRAYER & RELIANCE
TRUST:- Trust God, Not Man or Self-Effort!
Jeremiah 17:5 NKJV “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.”
Beloved, even if you are down and out (like Joseph was) at this point in your life, the Lord can promote you supernaturally in an instant when you choose to put your eyes on Him!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
PRAYER & RELIANCE:- And the work of the Holy Spirit
Promise of the Spirit
The blessing of being filled with the Holy Spirit is not for the sake of mere enjoyment. It is rejoicing, to be sure! But at the core of a life of growing discipleship with Jesus Christ, is the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives is what’s most important.
John 16:7 NKJV “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”
1. It is the Spirit who keeps the Word alive.
2. It is the Spirit who infuses prayer and praise with passion.
3. It is the Spirit who teaches and instructs.
4. It is the Spirit who brings gifts and giftedness for power-ministry.
5. It is the Spirit who will bring love, graciousness, and a spirit of unity to our hearts.
Position Yourselves
II Chronicles 20:15-17 NKJV “And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.””
A. Position yourself in Praise & Worship
B. Position yourself in Faith We should have so much confidence in God’s love for us that no matter what comes against us, we know deep inside that He is with us and He will never let us down .
Kingdom living is secondly about your MOUTH
Ephesians 5:3-5 NKJV “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.”
You have to Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk
..
Judges 12:5-6 NIV “The Gileadites captured the fords of the Jordan leading to Ephraim, and whenever a survivor of Ephraim said, “Let me cross over,” the men of Gilead asked him, “Are you an Ephraimite?” If he replied, “No,” they said, “All right, say ‘Shibboleth.’ ” If he said, “Sibboleth,” because he could not pronounce the word correctly, they seized him and killed him at the fords of the Jordan. Forty-two thousand Ephraimites were killed at that time.”
Kingdom living is Thirdly is about Obedience and Conquest
Luke 9:1-2 NIV “When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
Two Kingdoms Clashing
The Lord Jesus Christ promised to return again. In the interim, we are not merely charged to witness of His Love. We are explicitly commanded to introduce His rulership—the kingdom of God—into those circumstances in which mankind’s lost rule has produced impossible situations. Christ’s whole life presents a clear picture of two kingdoms in opposition. That picture may be seen wherever truth confronts the universal Liar, reality exposes the sham of religiosity, health crashes into the domain of sickness, deliverance unshackles spiritual bondage, love overflows fear, forgiveness expels condemnation, and where wholeness expands the constriction caused by sin.
II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
Align your life through obedience dealing with the things you know need to confronted in your own life and then dedicate yourself to helping others.
WE Don’t sometimes do things we should in helping am d correcting others because we are bound (blind) in areas and need to come to obedience & Breakfree!
I Timothy 5:1-2 NKJV “Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity.”
We need to Work hard and focus on your own tasks and avoid being lazy and gossiping or speaking out of turn or things we have no authority or knowledge in!
Keeping busy with our duties stops us from spreading false information or causing trouble through idle talk.
SO we must live accurately, living a life of peace and productivity, encouraging personal responsibility over curiosity about others’ affairs. By minding our own business and respecting others’ autonomy, that’s how we can contribute to a harmonious community
I Thessalonians 4:10-12 NKJV “and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.”
WE ARE ON THE INCREASE, SO LET’S GET ALIGNED AND GET GOING!
